I suspect this is an odd first post as the CC Sustainability Coordinator but:
Jamie are you kidding us?
You seem to have exactly the opposite perception of ENACT's effectiveness than I do.
You mention composting at Rastall as the last big ENACT contribution (which by the way, just earned CC our only "A" on a national sustainability report card.
How did you miss ENACT's successful campaign to win LEED certification for the Cornerstone Arts Building, or fighting for CC to sign the President's Climate Commitment, which led to a $50,000 energy audit to serve as baseline data for a long range CC sustainability plan, and bringing new energy/organization/effectiveness to the Green Round Table. And hey, I'm only part-time, but why do you think Pres. Celeste asked me to serve as Sustainability Coordinator - do you think student pressure had anything to do with it? Should I continue?
I don't mean to sound surly, but the current ENACT leadership and membership is the most effective that I've seen in my 20 years at CC.
