Dr. Vandana Shiva is a world-renowned physicist, activist, ecologist, political-economist, feminist, and author. She has written over 350 publications and 14 books. Dr. Shiva’s most recent books include Biopiracy: The Plunder of Nature and Knowledge and Stolen Harvest: The Hijacking of the Global Food Supply. In 2005 she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Doctor Shiva has fought for changes in the practice and paradigms of agriculture and food through grassroot campaigns.
