SYNERGY HOUSE NEWS

Some news and reminders just to keep everyone updated:

-There will be a Senior insulation workshop the first Sunday 3rd block. Synergy will be running its annual blower door analysis so come learn what you can do to improve your heating bill this winter - It will definitely add up. If your interested in running a blower door for your house Synergy can help facilitate the process, but we need to reserve the blower door a week ahead of time.

-Synergy will be winterizing the garden and moving the herb garden 3rd block! stay tuned for more info...

-Come to blockly potlucks 2nd Friday of every block.

-The house is getting matching sail shades for the upstairs windows! If your interested in helping make the sailshades, or learning how they work, contact Synergy house or a resident at Synergyhouse@coloradocollege.edu.

-Synergy is open for groups interested in reserving the house for lectures, workshops, speaker receptions, meetings, etc(Contact a Synergy resident to plan or email Synergyhouse@coloradocollege.edu)

Winter is coming so be smart with energy use due to heating - remember to close windows while your heater is on. Don't forget to unplug all of your appliances and set your thermostat low while your gone during block break.
