For those of you who check up on the blog--
EnAct has an incredible amount of engaging activism to wrangle with this coming year, and we need a pow-wow ASAP to bring us back from our far-flung summers. After speaking to Howard Drossman about action with the administration over the summer, I learned of quite a few BIG THINGS that quietly changed while we were all off regaining our sanity. Juicy tidbits like:
-The Campus Sustainability Coucil has expanded, with two more student spots
-We have a Sustainability Coordinator
-Celeste is alotting at least $30,000 for a campus energy audit AND is doing so to garner strength to sign the PCC...
MY goodness, such sneaky things happen while we're away!
THIS is why we need to meet and discuss what's up, and how we should best allocate our time this year, preferrably SUNDAY NIGHT, if at all possible. My vote is for a big dinner/discussion at someone's house, but if we must use a space on campus, that's alright, too. Tuesday this week will be the regular EnAct meeting as usual, 8:00 in the ERC, however we need to meet sooner than that to get our act together and make a few quick decisions.
