Broad GOALS:
+ Initiate discussion around the issues of the FOOD SYSTEM
+ unite community around FOOD
+ capitalize on resources in the CC community (namely our excellent staff and faculty)
+ Promote the food vision of LOCALITY through our events and activism on campus
+ Bring together our unique passions for sustainability, culture, politics, and what ever.. through FOOD

ISSUES to address:
Tackle the issues surrounding GMOS.
GLOBAL FOOD SUPPLY...WTO
Tradition/ religion and FOOD
Seed Saving....loss of diversity
Ranching
Urban and Farm interface/ incorporation/ overlap
Migrant Workers and illegals in the US.....Colorado current stance
Permaculture
BEE CRISIS
Slow food ....collaboration

Campus Action:
Helping to create communication b/t dinning services and farmers as well as students.
#1 CAMPUS FOOD SURVEY......We need help brainstorming questions....send ideas to Adam Plourde @ a_plourde@CC.edu
encourage labeling of food origins in Rastall....
Work on COMPOSTING with CC FARMERS and EnACT....in campus kitchens and Herb n' Farm
Helping to advertise Farmers Markets....Lyndnesy
COlaborative FOOD COLLUM in campus publication
NSO WEEK info sheet about farmers market ETC. 2nd semester

Blocky or week long ....COOKING GET TOGETHER....learn how to cook seasonally and from scratch
