BIG FAST NEWS:
The next CSC meeting hasn't been planned yet, and the next Board meeting is THIS THURSDAY & FRIDAY.
This means that we have two paths we can take with the PCC:
a) We need to get the PCC report/proposal in ASAP -as in tomorrow afternoon- so that the Board knows what's going on and that we're pressuring for this, or
b) Gather serious support for the PCC and get it completely refined so we can submit the whole chunk of paper + petition by the end of the block to both Celeste and the Board so mull over for the summer.
What's our stance on this? Decisions on PCC action need to be made by this evening.

Would the Board be deciding whether to approve the PCC on thursday and friday. If so we wouldn't be able to demonstrate significant student support. Do we need time for petitions? Perhaps we could introduce the PCC to the board and then supplement our argument with petitions before their summer meeting?
I just invited DeLaHunt to post here, so hopefully he'll let us know what's going on with his end of things.
Otherwise, I think the board has a vague sense of the PCC, but doens't really understand the importance of it. If we give them the proposal without the student petition supplementing it, that will be a good heads-up on what really needs to happen, however we are risking them being cold on it without the student support. YET, if we don't hand it in until later on in the block, they certainly won't make a decision about signing until sometime in the summer, which feels abstract and late for all of us. I say we submit the proposal by Thursday, if DeLaHunt OKs it, and supplement it later on in the block with the petition.
eh?
