Because David S. and Adam weren't able to make it to the meeting tonight, here are the (apologetically lengthy) minutes:
Main topics were:
-The PCC campaign plan for 8th block
-Meeting with Dick Celeste to discuss the PCC & EnAct for next year
-EnAct positions/who's running
-Back to school plans for the fall
The PCC Campaign Plan for 8th Block
-Deadline to hand in the PCC proposal & petition = 3rd Friday
This week:
-Set up a table for the petition at the Gear Sale and during Llama this Saturday morning and afternoon (David S yes we
assigned you)
-Get the GRT green group heads to all sign the PCC (Katie)
-Get EV professors/general willing faculty to sign the PCC (?)
-Get the petition out at the Relay for Life (Charlie & Courtney)
-Chalking (Katie & Charlie)
-All-school listserv, departmental listservs (Charlie)
-Butcher paper signs (?)
-More flyers up- check EnAct listserv for PDF email (everyone)
-Door-to-dooring with the petition as assigned tonight (everyone)
-Email CCCA Heads this week to get ourselves on their docket for 3rd week meeting (Charlie)
3rd week:
-The to-be-newly-elected co-chairs meet with Dick Celeste 3rd Monday during open office hours in Worner
-Put a new cover letter on the PCC branding it as "student support" instead of a petition
-Then meet with CCCA 3rd week to discuss them making a resolution on the PCC to send to Celeste with our proposal
-Put the whole packet together with blessings from DeLaHunt and submit it all on Friday
Meeting with Dick Celeste 3rd Week:
-He already knows about the PCC and our push for it, he just doesn't know we are the faces behind it.
-Via Beth Brooks, Celeste is creating a President's Advisory Committee of External Experts on energy consumption &
costs for campus, which will directly advise him on the PCC. David Amster is connected with this. We need to have full
communication between this new committee and the CSC so that everyone's on the same page.
EnAct Positions/Who's running:
-5 folks are running for co-chairs: David S., Katie, Laura, Adam, & David Amster-O
-Discussion continues about tri-chairs vs. quadra-chairs vs. a committee of everyone
-Beyond the co-chairs, positions of Treasurer, Online Point-Person, Secretary, and Marketing are up as well
Back to School Plans for the Fall:
-Get our hands in RA Training
-Create a pamphlet on sustainable CC lifestyle choices & EnAct stickers for all new students & NSO Leaders
-Get a table in Worner with EnAct's name during the move-in weekend, getting parents and kids to check us out
-Make another set of EnAct stickers and blitz the bathrooms V.A.T.-style before classes kick in
YAAAAA! That's about it. Big EnAct meeting tomorrow at 8 for elections!
Best,
Katie

Sounds like it was a good meeting. Sorry I couldn't be there, I had singing lessons.
I would like to do some door to door signing. Would anyone want to hit Mathias with me tonight????
