Majora Carter a speaker for the CC Urbanists Speaker Series, presented an incredibly inspiring solution for The South Bronx and other publicly neglected communities: "Green the Ghetto". Her non-profit organization Sustainable South Bronx is working to install green roofs, offer ecological stewardship training and create at least 600 local jobs revolving around preserving environmental integrity.
